Author Biography
I was born in June 1973 and am a special education worker for Child Protection Services in France, after having worked with the homeless population. So, I know rather well the living conditions of society’s outcasts. I have initial training in psychology and became an educator after being a conscientious objector. Indeed, I was not recognized as screwed up enough to be spared military service, which was still mandatory at that time. I’ve been writing forever. I had several poems published in the 1990s in some small magazines that didn’t last long. I’ve always wondered, moreover, if there wasn’t a cause-and-effect relationship between the two...
Most of my writing I keep preciously at home and which I sometimes reread, saying to myself, “hey, that’s not bad, it sounds like me.”
Bukowski is the author, the poet, who has impressed me the most and led me to write. He has set me straight more than once, but I must love that. The intoxication of his words continues, and will always continue, to carry me away in a burst of emotions.
