Author Biography
Margaux Valensi is an associate professor of comparative literature at the Université Bordeaux Montaigne. She specialises in the politics of the arts and literature, particularly 20th-century European and Latin American poetry. She contributed to the edited volume Question de Littérature générale et comparée: Romans of Magical Realism. Gabriel García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude, Salman Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children, The Flight of Time by Lianke Yan in 2023, and in 2025 she co-organized events related to Joy Harjo’s visit to Bordeaux Montaigne University as a teacher for the program titled “American Poetry: Languages, Peoples, Memories” for the 2025–2026 Agrégation in Modern Literature.
