Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission is not before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission has not been previously published.

Author Guidelines

Les documents déposés par les auteur·es doivent respecter scrupuleusement les normes rédactionnelles développées dans le document en lien.

Calendrier de publication

Les manuscrits sont soumis à au moins deux rapporteurs, experts du sujet concerné (issus du comité de lecture d’Aquitania, parfois extérieurs si besoin de compétences spécifiques). Les rapports sont examinés et discutés en comité de lecture aux mois de janvier et juin de chaque année. Dans tous les cas, les manuscrits sont renvoyés ensuite aux auteurs avec l’avis du comité de lecture et les rapports.

Après validation par le comité de lecture, le délai moyen de publication est de 6 à 12 mois.

Rubriques

Articles

Articles must not exceed 20 pages, i.e. 60,000 characters, including bibliography and footnotes, unless otherwise agreed by the Editorial Board.

To be submitted no later than 15 May for review by the June meeting of reviewers, and no later than 30 November for review by the January meeting of reviewers.

Dossier

A dossier contains several contributions (articles and notes) on the same theme and/or proceedings from a study day/symposium.

To be submitted no later than 15 May for review by the June meeting of reviewers, and no later than 30 November for review by the January meeting of reviewers.

Résumé de master

A master's summary contains a maximum of 5 pages, including bibliography and illustrations.

To be submitted no later than 15 May for review by the June meeting of reviewers, and no later than 30 November for review by the January meeting of reviewers.

Supplement

Un supplément peut être soumis pour publier une monographie ou des actes de colloque. Les manuscrits peuvent être soumis toute l’année après une première prise de contact avec Florence Verdin, présidente de la Fédération Aquitania (florence.verdin@u-bordeaux-montaigne.fr).
