Abstract
In a very short time, victims hatched. It fascinated us cause victims confronted us with great dilemmas: how to work with a figure that was not propre to sociology? The political and academic institutionalization of victims soon made that fascination disappear. In this text we recount the journey of the search for sociological fascination first in the victims, the decline of that concern and then the search for other facts that would activate our fascination that is found in the little done, the discarded, the unfinished, that which sociology does not usually concern itself with.
