This article investigates the practical side of the philosophy of the limit. It situates, firstly, the ethical impulse as the foundation of both the philosophy of the limit and of a reason that is conceived as borderline; and studies, secondly, the difficulties for the formulation of a proposal for a political philosophy in accordance with the criteria of the philosophy of the limit and its methodical demands.
