Alfons Cervera (Gestalgar, Valencia, 1947) is a Spanish writer and journalist. With his socially conscious writing, Alfons Cervera’s narrative is characterized by filling in the gaps in memory created by forgetting. Through his novels, the author recovers and reinvents a past, giving it new life by telling its story. On the occasion of the recent French translation of his novel Claudio, mira, we have the opportunity to interview the writer to discuss, among other things, history, autobiography, literature, and autofiction in his narrative.
