Abstract

In France, since 2019, there has been a growing interest on the part of Langue Vivante Étrangère : Espagnol teaching teams in contemporary muralism, an object of study that remains marginal in the field of art history. As the textbook is a commonly authoritative tool of transmission in the academic and institutional space, we therefore conducted a comparative study of 41 secondary school books in order to measure their contribution to the identification, recognition and valorisation of the Latin American movement.
