Abstract
Flamenco has always been an artistic tool for social commitment and in recent years, in parallel with the rise of the feminist movement in Spain, several artists propose explicitly feminist works in order to (re)think the world. Through the analysis of the flamenco show El Movimiento by Fernando López Rodríguez, Belén Maya and María del Mar Suárez, we will show that the use of humour in flamenco art can be a powerful weapon in the divulgation of a feminist discourse.
