Communication & Organisation

For over thirty years, Communication & Organisation, a journal produced by MICA research centre (UR 4426, Bordeaux Montaigne University), has been actively participating in the structuration and dynamism of the organizational communication research field, in France and abroad.

Since 1992, Communication & Organisation has published two themed issues a year, as well as varia articles.

Recognized as qualifying journal by CNU 71 and HCERES, Communication & Organisation is published by the Presses universitaires de Bordeaux and supported by Bordeaux Montaigne University. It is available in print and digital version on Cairn.info for the most recent issues and OpenEdition Journals for all articles over three years old.

This journal is indexed on the Google Scholar, Base, Dimensions and Isidore search engines. It is listed in the Mir@bel, Miar, ERIH+ and HCERES directories, and in the Sudoc, AureHAL, Worldcat and International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBBS) bibliographic databases. The journal’s ethical statement meets international requirements as defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The editorial and review teams are made up of leading communication scientists, including international experts. Communication & Organisation thus shows its open approach to the diverse forms of present-day reflections in the fields of communication, organisations, work and public relations.

The journal publishes articles by leading researchers, as well as young researchers, whose original contributions cannot be overlooked. It publishes scientific articles on the basis of double-blind peer review, with the utmost rigor, to promote research that meets the highest standards of quality.

Aimed at all those –academics, students and practitioners– who wish to deepen their reflection on organisational communication, each issue of the journal dedicates a major dossier to a particular area or aspect of this field. Additional articles are also included, providing flexibility with regard to the theme. The Book reviews section and the news on research trends in France and abroad –thanks to a network of correspondents in Europe, North America and Africa– provide precious help for keeping our knowledge up to date.

The journal has entered into a partnership with the EUPRERA Association (European Public Relations Education and Research) to distribute its “Latest research” section in English.
