Abstract

The hypermedia short short story requires the understanding of the denotation and connotation processes that literary texts and photographic texts have, based on the identification of the compositional structure and the explicit and implicit significant elements. This literary genre has a dynamic structure that arouses powerful emotions in the reader's interior, which derive both from the events that are told in the fictional imaginary universe and from the aesthetic emotion that emerges from the narrative construct; its reception has a double aspect, since it connects with the cognitive base proper to social emotions and with the aesthetic enjoyment proper to neurological-based artistic emotion.
