Abstract

The graphic novel Las Divas del Diván (2018) by sisters Laura and Carmen Pacheco is representative of a certain feminism that, while dismantling through humor, irony and parody the mechanisms that contribute to the stereotypes traditionally associated with women, feeds into the concept of femininity as cultivated by the women's press, as is the case with Smoda magazine in which many of the panels included in the graphic novel of the same name were published.
