Abstract
This article aims to study the festive aesthetics of feminist street activism. From the study of a set of expressive practices in social protest in the city of Rosario, Argentina, it will be analyzed how, as a whole, the repertoires around joy and happiness modeled a certain form of appearance in the public space of feminisms in the years 2015-2018. Likewise, a genealogy will be constructed to allow a situated and more complex analysis in terms of the historical processes in which these practices are inscribed. Finally, the possible intersection between feminist festive aesthetics and the imperative of joy as a disciplinary device of the time will be studied.
